I have an RPG III program that uses DSPLY to send messages to a message
queue.
I have another RPG III program that uses QMHRCVM to get those messages.

Recently (customer didn't say when, could be a year for all I know) this
application started getting incorrect output. It seems that QMHRCVM is
dropping the DSPLY, thus shifting the message text to the left.

The CL command RCVMSG does not do this, so I know that the message is OK on
the queue.

I have hunted for PTFs but cannot find any. The archives have nothing on
this either. QMHRCVM gives incorrect output for either format, RCVM0100 or
0200, and in CL, RPG III and RPG IV.

Has anybody else seen this problem elsewhere? If so, I'd appreciate a PTF
number. It takes quite a bit to get this escalated through our internal
organisation and then through IBM's organisation to get it resolved.
