Greetings,

I am starting to learn some CL programming to help manage some overnight
processing jobs.
I need to be able to move a number of submitted jobs from one queue to a
number of different queues, depending on which job it is. Each job in the
queue has a different name, so generally the command to change the job queue
will run with no problem, but sometimes that name is not unique on the
system and the program fails for that reason. Is there a way from within
the CL command to retrieve the job number from a job held in a queue so that
when I enter the command to change queues, I can use the correct qualified
name?

Thanks,

Doug Johnson
