I do that all the time here.  Fire away!

By the way, if you have a fast internet connection there is a way to
download ptf's over the internet versus using the modem.  Check out:

Yesterday it took 2 1/2 hours+ to download 5 ptf's for my production
machine.  Rather than spend another 2 1/2  hours for the test machine, is
it
okay to copy the SAVF that was created for each ptf & ftp that to the test
machine?  Any thing that might not make that a doable move?

Both machines are running V4R4M0 with the same set of cume ptf's, hipers, &
all the other group ptf's.
