It was on that same page. I had someone scan in the article. I edited it
and checked for scanning errors.

Here it is:

(V3R2M0) is supported for connection to AS/400 systems with V3R2, V4R1, or
later installed (thus, the V3R2 version level). It is not supported for
V3R1, V3R6, or V3R7.

Obtaining V3R2M0

Q How do I obtain Client Access for Windows 95/NT V3R2M0?

There are several ways to obtain the new version of Client Access
for Windows 95/NT.

Customers who already have the AS/400 Client Access for Windows family
product (57xx-XW1) can upgrade to a newer release of OS/400, and IBM will
ship the latest levels of all Client Access programs.

Customers with V4R1 or V4R2 and Software Subscription can order from IBM at
no charge Feature 2640 of 5755-AS5; the IBM program library will ship the
latest version of the Windows 95/NT client.

Customers with V3R2 can order at no charge Feature 1721 of 5755-AS3 and
(for a one-time charge) Feature 3100 of 5763-XW1.

Customers with V3R6 or V3R7 must upgrade to V4.

Customers who still use the original AS/400 Client Access family product
(those still on V3 who haven't yet exchanged their XA1 licenses) must
obtain the Client Access for Windows Family (5763-XW1) and/or the Client
Access Family (5763-XY1) to receive the latest client code. There is no
charge for this exchange.

Went to the AS400Network.com site, saw the "article" on page 187 of the
October 1998 issue, and saw that it was dealing with CA support for Win98,
but
no mention of 'Obtaining V3R2M0'. Searched for it with no hits. Rob (or
anyone else - News400 people?), is this article online?

I might be able to find this issue somewhere in a stack at home (shudder
the
thought).

-------------------------- Original Message --------------------------

Awhile back someone asked how to order/get CA V3R2 installed on a V3R2 box.
There is an article in News/400 that discusses this. October 1998, page
187, entitled 'Obtaining V3R2M0'. Goes into great detail about feature
codes and what not. If you do not have access to News/400 then perhaps
Alister can type up the article for you ;-)
