I was just at an IBM class, whose instructor said if you let the AS400 use up more than 70% of you disk performance will degrade ... we did not get into how significant ... more than 90% and serious trouble ... I piped up in class that we once had over 100% because OS/400 can't calculate it right when M/36 has a chunk of the disk space, and we had actual damage to files.
