But, be careful with this file. Otherwise you may have to run:
RCLSTG SELECT(*DBXREF)
to rebuild it. If so, you'll see many messages in QSYSOPR.

EZVIEW, like WRKDBF, can't handle null values. Press F1 on the error

Report this to your software vendor. They have this file too and can test.

Hi Rob !

<While knowing that, does anyone still find it slightly unsettling that the
access to QSYS/QADBIFLD is *PUBLIC *CHANGE? Think of the SQL statement:
SELECT *
FROM qadbifld WHERE (ucase(DBITXT) like '%PAY%' and ucase(DBITXT) like
'%RATE%')>

What's up with QSYS/QADBIFLD ? We have a product from Help Systems called
EZVIEW
that lets you view a file (and delete, change, copy, update records...
Auditors
HATE it...) and when I try to look at this file I get "Data mapping error
on
member QADBIFLD" errors trying to open it. I copy it to another file with
CRTFILE(*YES) and get the same thing. I realize this is just a problem with
EZVIEW but what is different about this file ? It appears to be a regular
ole PF
?

Chuck
