There is always a way.

Submit a command from the RPG program to run on a PC to print the
spreadsheet would be the easiest.

I remember some time ago a software package which would allow you to update
a particular cell in a Lotus spreadsheet from within RPG.  For example,
CALL LOTUSPGM
PARM   IFSDIR
PARM   COL
PARM   ROW
PARM   NEWVAL

That kind of thing.  We almost purchased it because of some period end
reporting we do with spreadsheets.  We could have updated the figures we
needed from RPG, and send them an email that the spreadsheet was ready to
print.

Is there anyway possible to print an EXcel spreadsheet stored on the IFS
from a RPG or CL program.
