I have a client who just had a 2838 Ethernet card installed in a model 600. The card shows as Inoperative in the WRKHDWRSC *CMN screen. I looked in the Hardware Service Manager and the card shows as FAILED. Quite a while ago it I installed the same card in a model 600 for a different client. I remember the installation directions being pretty particular about what slot the Ethernet card went into based on what other cards are in the machine. I suspect the card to be in the wrong PCI slot, does anyone know anything about this or have those directions. Thanks in advance, Carl Carl J.
