Here's an odd one: A V4R5 machine is having a severe problem with
performance writing to data queues. About half the time when a program
writes to a data queue it takes anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds for the write
to complete. I've taken timestamp information right before and after the
call to QSNDDTAQ. I know it is not the program logic - the program is in
production at a *lot* of customer sites and doing fine. And the problem is
happening in RPG applications  (our application is in C) on the same
machine. The data queue is built for the large terrabyte support. Anyone
heard of this type of problem? I didn't find anything in the APAR database
