I think you're going to be out of luck on this one, but if you do find a solution, I'd be interested in it too. There was some talk a while back about porting Lynx to OS/400, but I don't know whether anything ever came of it. Lynx is a text-only browser, and if it's written in C, as I assume it must be, it should be possible to port it; but I expect there would be display difficulties...
