I have not done this personally, but could you do a CLOF and then do a
OPNDBF???

Other thought, would it not be easier to just write an RPG program, CL is
clumsy, and not really designed for this.

Subject: CL DCLF

Hi all,
does anyone know how to get a dclf'ed physical file in a CL program
to reposition back to start of file ? I've tried OVRDBF POSITION(*START)
and POSITION(*RRN 1); neither seem to work. Perhaps I am trying to do the
impossible ?

Kind regards,
Jeff Bull.
