Dan,

Nope. That's the old support that Client Access provided, and requires
Client Access to be installed, running, and connected to the /400 to work.
NetServer causes the /400 to mimic an NT server in regard to sharing drives
and printers, and only requires Windows to be installed on the PC.

WAS: Subject: AS400 - PC without Client Access

In a V3R2 & V3R7 environment, are there advantages to using CA Express vs.
CA
Win95?

Eric mentioned that V4R3 was the starting point for Netserver... but also
added that CA Express uses Netserver, hence my original question.

I am currently using the CA Win95 V3R1M2 package and I have the ability to
map
a PC drive to the AS/400 (V3R2). Is this Netserver?

TIA,

Dan Bale
