Hi Harry, Robert,

There are a number of good solid security products on the market for the
AS/400 (e.g. Pentasafe). All manage this kind of access very
effectively and it might be worth spending a little of your time
reviewing what each has to offer.

My company also has a solution that does the job just as well but we
have put a lot of emphasis in the design of user interface and kept it
simple. The name of this solution is User Access Security/400
(UAS/400). Please contact me if you require any further information.

Regards

Tony Squires

I have a similar concern, and if it's already been discussed, let me
apologize ... I'm interested in recommendations for securing batch FTPs
where it is not unusual to store IDs with non-expiring passwords in a
readable file ... suggestions, please.

Our site have a tool to protect and/or log all the data transfer
activites
using FTP, but it could not do for Client Access.
I want to protect (at least to log) all the data transfer activities
using
Client Access, is there any solution?
Thank you.

HDA
