My current client wants to stop installing twinax for new
remote locations. Their remote sites include shop floors
that normal had dumb terminals & printers, used by aircraft
mechanics. I am familiar with some thin clients, and have
had good & bad experiences. Basically need 5250 screen
emulation, and work order printing. Currently no NT at
remote sites and connection to home by frame or VPN.
Future may include display/print manuals, pictures, etc.
BTW-much of the app is S36 on a native system.
I've already seen one thin client not get the s36 screen
attributes right. Any recommendations?
or anything to beware of (can send privately if needed)
