As a result of checking the QSYSOPR message queue to determine the activity
surrounding the IPL that enacted the changes to QACTJOB & QTOTJOB (discussed
in a previous thread "RE: WRKSBMJOB, WRKUSRJOB slug-li"), I was intrigued to
find that the IPL ran from ##MACH#A. I had specified PWRDWNSYS with the
default IPLSRC(*PANEL).

The last time this box was IPL'd before yesterday's was six months ago, long
before I arrived here. No one here can explain why or how the panel was set
to IPL from the 'A' side. One would have thought that if there was a problem
with a temporarily applied PTF six months ago that it would have been removed
or fixed by now. Unfortunately, the system history log only goes back one
month.

Any ideas on whether I should go ahead and IPL from side 'B'?

Looking at the DSPPTF 5763999 & 5763SS1, PTFs TL98139 & TC98139 were the last
cumes applied. (This is a V3R2 box.) The previous ones (superseded) were
Tx98048, which is, I presume, what we're effectively using on the 'A' side.
Is there a more current cume and is it still available?
