I have an option on our CALL NITE menu in which we delete current job logs
after our backup if no person has reported to MIS any known problem we ought
to be dealing with ... this kills typically 100 job logs each nite. My NITE
menu has all the steps I do each nite outside our general applications, to
help non-technical folks do my job when I am on vacation or sick or something.

We have more than one WRKOUTQ that appears to contain some kind of job log.

You know how standard menus have "90" for sign off?

On our application menus I have SIGNOFF *LIST labeled "exit with job log if
you had a problem" that is an adjacent number to "90" - unfortunately many
users forget to do this ... the most common exit they use is F3 out of the
application menus which takes them to *SIGNOFF being the second place the
user profile goes after going to main menu of our primary application
package, because I do not want ordinary users falling into IBM command menus.
