Scott, If all you need to do is send print from one AS/400 to a printer on a second AS/400, you can do this with remote output queues. This is all coming from memory, but I think this will be pretty close. Once you get the two AS/400s communicating (SNA or IP), create a remote output queue on the system without the attached printer (local system) that points to the output queue of the printer on the system with the attached printer (remote system). CRTOUTQ OUTQ(lib/name) RMTSYS(remote_system_name or remote_host_name) RMTPRTQ(remote_output_queue) AUTOSTRWTR(1) CNNTYPE(*IP or *SNA) TRANSFORM(*NO) Repeat this for every remote printer you need to print to. Whenever a spool file gets sent to the output queue on the local system, it will get sent to the associated output queue on the remote system. HTH, <<<snip>>> My goal is to get an AS/400 , model 9406 sitting in city A to print to 400 printers sitting in city B. <<<end snip>>> Todd Kidwell (Netstar) AS/400 System Administrator (313) 224-0578 +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
