Hi, I need to restore some V3R1 tapes to my 170 at V4R4. A client's machine died at V3 and they need to get some reporting capabilities. I'm faced with two options, restore their programs and data to my 170, or get their CISC machine up and running. The CISC machine has been in moth balls for two years, they have no SAVSYS, so I'd prefer to just get their stuff running temporarily on my 170. Any suggestions? Best I can tell, I've got a NONSYS save tape to work with. Any helpful advice is appreciated. I'm hoping it's just a restore, and let the system figure it out as I go. All this without killing my current system, which is "live" stuff.
