Be advised that backwards compatibility to V3R2 stops after V4R5 and, according to the IBM presentation I saw yesterday, will not appear again. It is now possible to upgrade directly from V3R2 to V4R5 but, never again. Food for thought. Will this approach work ? I am particularly concerned about API support ... if I reference an API, bindable or otherwise, will the compile process let me know if the API is not available at the target release ? -DaveK --------------------------------------------- This message was sent through IDT. http://www.idt.net/ +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
