A client is considering it. The shop uses PB7 over Sybase currently, but I am not convinced that Sybase is where they need to be. I may have some small influence over the database selection process and DB2 seems to be much better behaved. Of course, I've not worked with Sybase, but I sat next to 2 Sybase DBA's for a week - ouch! ks -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Pete Hall Sent: Thursday, September 07, 2000 6:22 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: PowerBuilder Frontend At 23:43 09/06/2000 , Karen Summers wrote: >Is anyone using PowerBuilder to frontend an application with ODBC to connect >to "DB2 Universal Database for AS/400" (jeez- what happened to DB2/400?!?). I did some of that with PB5. It worked OK, but PB was a little, um, not totally without bugs. Why do you ask?
