Hi Alan I don't know if what I did was correct or not (it certainly seemed to work) I set up two default routes and bound the default route back to the internet to the specific hardware interface designated for internet traffic. I didn't bind the other default route (intranet connection to a VPN) to a specific hardware interface but everything seems to work - it s probably been a matter of luck so far until something causes it to go belly up. Hope this assists Regards Evan Harris >We have two routers bringing the Internet to our AS/400. What we want to do >is have different people telnet into each router. The problem is when they >telnet into the second router the AS/400 sends the signal back out the >first. For example, when I ping the second router the address that responds >is the second router. Can anyone give me some configuration guidance here? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
