Don't use system() !

If you need to access any status, diag, escape etc., messages after the call
is complete, then the best option by far is to use the QCAPCMD API. Although
it's slightly more involved in setting up the parms to call it, you will be
better off in the long run - believe me, I've been through the hoops with
system()...
