  • Subject: WRKHDWPRD - Can't see options 1-3

I have a number of AS/400 systems, one being V3R1M0.
I can do a WRKHDWPRD and select option 1 from the menu, WRKSYSCFG to view the
current system configuration which makes it fairly simple to determine what
hardware
is on this box.

I have another AS/400 V3R7M0 and I want to do the same thing. But when I do a
WRKHDWPRD
I don't see options 1 through 3, only 4 and 5 (4 and 5 having to do with
labels). I thought
it was a security issue, so I changed the authorities for another user to be
the exact
same as on the other system, User Class *SECADM, Special Authorities *ALLOBJ,
*JOBCTL, *SAVSYS
and *SECADM. I log on with this user profile, but still only see options 4 and
5 on the menu.
What do I have to do to be able to see options 1 though 3 on the WRKHDWPRD menu
on a V3R7M0 system?

Regards,

Jim Langston
