To use the FSIOP as a LAN adapter you need to CRTNWSD with a type of *BASE.
Then after it is created then you can create you ethernet lines.

Hi, I am to use an one FSIOP as a lan to adapter. Already I installed the
product (5763-sa2 V3R2, configured Network Server Description (NWSD) and a
Line Description (Ethernet). When I try to activate the NWSD, it gives me a
following error :(CPD8FD1 - Error occrurred initializing network server
xxxxx. The reason code is 00000001 - server storage space not found) and
not active. I do not understand the error, I am not to try to use a FSIOP
as netware server for a OS/400 integration for novell netware or Lotus
Notes. I created stroage space in format of *hpfs. I added ther server
storage link to point to the *firstaval drive letter too. The message is
the same.

Many thanks to all who offered helpful suggestions

Luis Jaleca
