Another approach to look at, and this method only works if you set all your
users to call the same initial ILE program at sign-on. There are two API's
that can be used to register user written procedures that will be called
when a job ends. One CEE4RAGE (Register Activation Group Exit Procedure - I
just love the API name ;-) is used to have your procedure called when the
job stream ends normally, and the other CEERTX (Register Call Stack
Termination Exit Procedure) is used to have your procedure called if the job
stream ends abnormally (in your case when the session is dropped).

These two API's are great, I use them in one case to detect when my
connection daemon is being forced to end via say a ENDSBS *ALL *IMMED, in
which case my code can do any needed clean up.
