Carol Woodbury LEAVING IBM !!

IBM looses another one,

Got this from Bob at IGNITe/400 today...

All,

I received a notice that one of our good friends at IBM, Carol Woodbury,

the AS/400 Security Architect is leaving IBM for a tremendous
opportunity
with SoftTech in Washington state.

I would like to publicly take this opportunity to thank Carol for all of

the help and support she gave all of us here at IGNITe/400 and beyond
and
extend her my personal best wishes in her endeavors with SoftTech.

Carol typified the very best that IBM had to offer in her dedication to
product excellence.  I had the occassion to correspond with Carol during
a
couple of recent security panics, one false, and one true.  In both
cases
Carol brought all of her resources to the table and dealt with
potentially
serious exposures in a rapid and professional manner.  She always
listened
to us and we saw many new features implemented in AS/400 security from
her
efforts.

SoftTech should certainly be able to bring some terrific new products to

the marketplace with Carol on their team!  Now that she is a "Civilian",

maybe we will see some posts from her.  I know she used to monitor this
list on a regular basis!
