Subject: IFS Link Question..
Is it possible, and if so how would you do it?
If I do a cpyfrmimpf i can convert delimited text files that reside on our
IFS, but is it possible to connect to a remote computer, IE(my pc) and read
the file directly, with out first moving it to the IFS? I guess i'm trying
to create a link to a remote PC connected via our intranet.
I didn't know if there was a way to put in the IP address of my PC, in the
'From Stream File prompt:' or is there was a symbolic link I could create in
the IFS to point to my PC...
Just curious, TIA, tim
