The normal rule is to take CPW and divide it by 7 to get MIPS. That is the
only comparison that I know of.

Subject: AS/400 comparisons to mainframe?

Has anyone seen any comparisons between AS/400 models and mainframes? I need
to be able to compare processing power of various configurations of AS/400
with various configurations of S/390 systems. Maybe MIPs to CPW or TP-C
benchmarks?

TIA,
Patrick
