It's not quite ready (still working on the documentation) but I have a tool that will do most of this for you. It will only work for *SCS spoolfiles though. I hope to have it finished over the weekend. It does meet your no cost criterion, but there are low cost alternatives - Brad Stone's SPLTOOL has a batch function. RJSSoftware do a spoolfile converter that looks to do all you require as well (but I don't know the price on this one). If you want to look at my offering, see the Extras page on my site (see .sig). You could drive the API from a program monitoring a *DTAQ attached to an *OUTQ, or use another of the APIs to retrospectively pick up all (or nominated) the reports on an existing *OUTQ(s). I have examples of both methods.
