We have setup LPAR and we are running into various problems with our third
party software. Mostly they don't have any idea on how to make changes to
their pricing structure for the one system serial number but multiple
instances.
Some of the third party vendors are having a problem with the concept.

Question for anyone implementing LPAR...

When you set up LPAR's on a system are you having to pay additional money to
run third party applications in multiple partitions? I know IBM only charges
once per physical system for the OS, I was wondering how other AS/400
software vendors were licensing their software for LPAR systems.
