This same thread is in the JDE WORLD Mailing list..... So to some, I'm going to sound like a broken record...
We use Creat!Print.... Love it... very easy and 400 friendly... I got a demo and was sold. You can create forms in a matter of hours. We had a very pressing go live date and I had about 6 weeks to get 3 forms done quickly to keep the business process going. I had absolutely NO training and when I ran into a sticky situation (form run over etc....) I called for help or emailed MY form to them and they not only fixed it but walked me through what I needed to do... NO heavy programming in most cases... I had some difficult form...and had to add what Creat!Print calls "expressions" but it was easy to figure out when I got the hang of it, and I DO NOT program. If you have questions you may contact me off line.
We were particularly watching costs.... and for the price we felt this was the best... We also saved money on getting pre watermarked paper w/ our blue logo w/ was minimal. That justified the costs on create!print too. The support has been worth it and none of the Exec's question that now like they used to... It's been a year and some are still changing forms, all it takes is a person w/ that super long last name to push everthing down one more line.... hmmm do they make a 2 font?

Subject: AS/400 Forms Printing Questions
Is there any particular type of Forms creation software that is most user friendly?
Do they all require heavy programming support? Do they all work on the same principal?
Thanks,
Phil
