There are literally hundreds of places that buy & sell used hardware for the 
midrange market place.  Many of them advertise in the small ad sections in 
the back of 400 trade press ... get any News/400 or Midrange Computing 
Magazine & you will be showered with them, or get onto the web sites & 
instead of going to the discussion groups, check out the sections listing 
vendors listed there.

Neither of your two examples specializes in the midrange computer parts 
market.  Would you go to an auto parts store to buy an engine for a marine 
boat?
Would you go to a building maintenance supply store to buy office furnishings?

You need to be going to places like BLACK BOX & Systems3X warehouse & Pace 
Butler & International 400 Computer Component Supply & Newport Leasing & I 
have a box of old catalogs about to go in the trash from hundreds of these 
places.
