Al,

Boy, do I disagree with you !! The two incumbents are the only two carrying 90% of the load and they are the best bet to Common making through NOT the problem. The problems date back to the last three Presidents the decisions that they made, the damage those decisions caused and the legacy they left for the current president to deal with !!
While I would gladly support a recall of a number of the sitting board ! I can honestly say that these two are why the lights are still on and the doors still open. An while they have not done it alone they have certainly carried the load.
The real issue is how much room it takes to turn an aircraft carrier, We started in Atlanta in 1996 when a consultants report was presented to the then president and executive committee and while excepted was (in my mind) not implemented. Only a few months ago do the turn back to a more stable User Group configuration start.
I see three people I would like to see on the board because I believe Common can survive if they are there and will not if others are elected. The Incumbents are key to our survival !!!
Do I here a recall partition being started by you ???
*RANT OFF
Any way you feel please participate by voting !!!!

Subject: COMMON Election
Hi,
Please take a moment to read this short note completely.
I would like point out to everyone that your COMMON election forms for the Board of Directors are being received this week. I would like to encourage all of you to vote.
My personal opinion is that it's time for change, and I would encourage you to vote for new directors.
This is not to say that the incumbent directors are bad or aren't trying. The incumbents have been trying and truly have the best intentions of COMMON in their hearts. But COMMON has been failing. Attendance is down, most of the staff has resigned, many poor decisions (abet well intentioned) have been made.
My apologies to anyone offended by this note. I have no ambition to be political in COMMON. My role at COMMON is to teach lots and to learn as much as I can. However, it's time for a change.
Al
