Thanks for all your input guys. Unfortunately it has to be FTP as the command is part of a send (No MQ either). The NT server isn't one of ours. I'll try triggering on NT. Here are 2 possibilities, but neither uses FTP: If you are running NT on the AS/400's IPCS, there is available the SBMNWSCMD command (prompt it and view the help). If not, then there is another, albeit kludgy, method: Use CA, start an interactive session from the NT server, start a program you write which will (issue a STRPCO command, once, to start the PC Organizer, then look in a MSGQ/DTAQ/etc. for the command(s) to run using STRPCCMD in that same session).
