     Take a look at Presto123 on http://www.paeinc.com/

We're going to give it a test run, but haven't installed it yet. I
have done some in house solutions for converting SPLF to CSV and
emailing or FTPing to get into XLS, but I'd like to dump the macro
portion of the process in XLS.

Thus, Presto123's claim of: "Simple cell layout for spool files which
can be saved for future use (.csv only automatic for all others)"
caught my attention. Supports conversion of splf to PDF, HTML, TXT
     and CSV.

What I am looking for is a way (on the AS/400) to generate the file as
     an
Excel spreadsheet (.XLS), Lotus (.123) or a MS Works worksheet and
     database
(.WKS, .WDB) so they can avoid the import function, having to resize
     columns
     to fit existing data, etc.
