The only rub is you can only save 640 meg per CD and you need a PC that is attached via TCP/IP to the AS/400. What I do is save a lib(s) (or file(s)) to a *SAVF. Then FTP (using binary mode) the *SAVF to a PC, then burn the *SAVF on the PC to a CDRW. To restore, just reverse the process (the *SAVF must be named on the AS/400 first) and it can be done on any AS/400 that is at the same version of OS/400 as it was saved from.
