Hi Booth!
The very top things that I would love to see in SEU:
1) Ability to edit multiple members simultaneously
2) Ability to write macro commands
3) Ability to "undo" editing mistakes

It would be really really great if SEU were more like XEDIT.  I rather like
the green screen for editing, but since Code/400 and Flex/Edit provide these
features, I'll keep using Code.  IBM got away with such a... modest editor
because the midrange people are traditionally insulated from the rest of the
programming profession.  Either that or they were hoping that a 3rd party
tools market would eventually catch on...

SEU has one huge advantage: it is installed on virtually every AS/400 on the
planet.  If I travel to a customer site  (away from my desk) I can't depend
upon having a PC on site, much less Code!  All the ranting in the world
won't induce happy customers to trade in their 3196's.
