Short answer: No.

Long answer: Why would you ask how to break IBMs licensing agreement on a
public forum?

You have 3 options as I see it.

1. Purchase C for your AS/400.
2. Use one of the C compilers on the public AS/400s out there.
3. Rewrite it in RPG

Sorry if this sounds kinda blunt, and I know exactly how you feel not being
able to compile thier
sample programs that should of come free on the AS/400 in the first place, but
you are basically
talking about warezing the C compiler.

Al, you know this one...
When I originally installed the licpgms on my 170, I did not yet know
(or didn't think) that IBM was sending everything on a CD, most of it on
a "trial" basis.
So...when I saw all the licpgms, I said "Wow" and loaded everything.
Well, everything I didn't purchase has expired, including my ILE-C pgm.
I need to compile a couple C pgms now, just a couple.
Can I remove the C compiler, reinstall it, and get the 30 days back?
My guess is NO, but I have to ask
