     Bradley,
I despise anyone who would impersonate another (e.g. Al Barsa) to give
you a bad review. Whoever did it was unprofessional.

This mail is to inform everyone that a review of my e-RPG book that
says is by Al Barsa is false, and was not posted by Al Barsa or are
these his views in the least bit.
     <snip>

you both are walking a very fine line. although the name may not be
common, the chance exists that there is more than one Al Barsa in the
US who is a programmer, RPG or otherwise, that may have read the book
and posted the review. professionalism also includes not jumping to
conclusions, but making judgements based on fact.

I also support your efforts in getting the false review deleted.

Just because the review was not written by the Al Barsa on this list
does not make the review false. I have not read the book and so have
no opinion on the validity of the review other than that false logic
     is being employed.

As a matter of propriety, I think the notice should have come from the
Al Barsa that we are familiar with. Coming from the author of the
book, as it did, can smack as a bit of merchandising.

Everyone is entited to express their viewpoint. Unless someone can
prove beyond a doubt that the person who posted the review is indeed
not legally named or known as Al Barsa, be it Albert, Alfonse, Alonzo,
etc., then this type of email is inflammatory and, some may say,
unprofessional. Believe it or not, there are plenty of people who do
not know the name Al Barsa and so the opinion does not carry the
perceived added weight that may impact sales of the book one way or the
     other.

     argumentatively yours,
