Re[2]: AS400 Fax Capability

In the AFP printer Guide, I talks about setting up A PC with a fax modem in it,
and sending IPDS print to it.  You set up windows print driver "AFP FAX".  Have
not tried it yet.

Does anybody know if the AS400 has any fax capability without introducing
3rd party software?

IBM has software and Fax cards they sell for the AS/400.  It works pretty well
although it is a little slow, 9600 baud rate!  However with 2 cards (4 phone
lines) we get out several hundred documents every night, with form overlays.  It
can handle PC documents also.  I don't know how expensive it is.
