I have made my living working with thin docs... Exploring is half the fun

W-Code is not direct to the hardware either... It is to a virtual machine
abstraction according to Hans' mail. If I were to be writing a compiler I
would not want to have to write it in something that generated C/C++ which
then generates and intermediate form and finally gets compiled into
executable form... I would want to go direct to the intermediate form (
which I would think W-Code is) and then make the executable.

Due to the fact that this virtual machine is based on a stack oriented
machine I could apply all my 6502 and 68000 machine coding experience to
this problem :-) Man how I wish IBM would have gone with Motorola!!!
