I am wondering the best and most efficient way to do a full system backup using BRMS.   I want to put the *savsys and *bkugrp on one tape not how the books suggest and this would be a waste on 3590's as there is plenty of space. I also don't want to have to submit the *savsys and then after that finishes end all subsystems and submit the *bkugrp and wait for that to restart every subsystem.   Can I just put a *exit as the last entry in the *savsys group and run the *bkugrp from there and append to media? is this safe?

How does everyone else do this.

Thanks

Chris
