Hi Benjamin, I'm not sure what you've tried so far, but I've been use TN3270 (emulates 3270, 5250, VTI) from SDI (http://www.sdisw.com/) and it works well for 5250 emulation over the internet. They have a 30-day free trial, so if you haven't already...
