Dave, you're just regurgitating IBM's marketing stuff. Check out earlier
posts on
this topic. CFINT is pure and simple a money machine. In order to compete
with NT and Unix as a server, IBM *has* to offer server performance at a
lower
price (not low enough, though), but in order to extract money from loyal
AS/400
users that have a large green-screen investment and can't go to a cheaper
platform, the CFINT ensures that they pay for the privilege of being
locked-in.
