I'm not going to take the bait.

You said in your first message "Now wouldn't it be loverly if our trade 
rags could get their story straight?", and that means there's always total 
agreement between all NEWS/400 (and Midrange Computing) staff of the 
significance and meaning of a given event, whether it's hype, factual, 
positive, negative, and so on. And I'm saying that isn't how the publishing 
industry works; there is often a wide range of interpretations by very 
knowledgeable people of any given event, product or  technology.
