I'm not sure which part of the note you are asking for comment on, but will try to cover both CPW and TPC-C. I will also throw in the disclaimer that I am not in the performance area, but did make a few phone calls... First, CPW is a measured workload that is run/benchmarked on each AS/400 model. CPW ratings do not appear to exist for platforms other than AS/400. TPC-C, on the other hand, is a measured workload that is run/benchmarked on selected models of AS/400. When you see published TPC-C numbers for a model, they represent an actual measurement audited by the TPC. As a general rule of thumb, one can approximate TPC-C numbers for models that were not explicitly measured by multiplying the measured CPW by 10. You would not however find these approximate TPC-C values published anywhere.
