How do I point my HTTP >config to the right IFS directory for the browser to find the image >file?? Is it a MAP or PASS statement in my HTTP config? Well, strictly speaking, this question has nothing to do with the implementation language. Also, if I'm not mistaken, I don't think this has much (or anything) to do with the configuration of the server. Let's say the URL of your web page (or CGI program) is "http://www.abc.to/dirname/page.xyz". Your *browser* will request the image from URL "http://www.abc.to/dirname/image.gif". This is all defined in the HTTP spec. Other examples: - If you coded , the browser would send a request for "http://www.abc.to/dirname/images/image.gif". - If you coded , the browser would send a request for "http://www.abc.to/images/image.gif". Where these files reside on the server system is, of course, defined by the server configuration. But in this situation, if you coded , I would expect the image file should be in the same directory as the html file or the cgi program. Cheers!
