Title: RE: Anyone Accessing the AS/400 from a PDA ?
Did the bigger screen advantages outweigh the disadvantage of having to plug it into your cell phone?

I used the Mochasoft product on my palm also and it worked well, but I have handed my palm pilot down in favor of an HP Jornada 548 pocket PC.  I do like all the functionality.  However does anyone know of a TN5250 emulator that will run on the pocket PC?  Most companies I have talk to either do not have a pocket PC version out yet (I've heard that m$ did not get the app dev tools out in time), or do not work on a device without a keyboard.  The Jornada uses a SH3 processor.  I do have a generic version of a Telnet emulator on it and can dial up my 400 over the internet using my cell phone.  It makes for great support to clients, as long as you are not going to do too much.  Now I can work from anywhere, anytime (and this is supposed to be a good thing?).

You bet.  I have a Palm (Palm IIIc) and am using MochaSoft's TN5250 for Palm (called Mocha Pocket TN5250).  Works great for those times you don't want to carry your laptop and just need to check on things.  You'll need network dial-in access (we use RAS) and then just use the TN5250.
