One easy way to get this in CL is to create a temporary object in
QTEMP and RTVOBJD SYSLVL(&VERSION) where &version is 9a.

Is there a dtaara or user space, where the Version Number & Release Reside???

I can see it on a compile listing, so IBM is getting it from the LicPgm somehow.

Or would I have to take from a PF created from the LICPGM listing?

Thanks.
