The 400 is doing COR and forcing a font somewhere in the range of 15 to 
17cpi. Use the WSCST function to and add/change the 
TAG:

:CPICOR 
  CPI=15 
  ASCIIFNT=  255 
  FNTWTH=   84 
  FNTATR=    1 
  DATA =''X. 

:CPICOR 
  CPI=15 
  ASCIIFNT=  203              <<<<<< change
  FNTWTH=   84 
  FNTATR=    1 
  DATA =''X. 


This is a 13cpi font which does a good job of filling a page with text.

we have a lexmark optras 2455 prtr.

when it is connected twin ax it prints just fine.

now we change to ip  using the lexmark interface card.

the pc printouts do fine.

the as400 printouts print compressed. 

any thoughts on this.
